Ryokuei (Shiny Verdure) (one of three paintings of Ohara-Sanzen’in Temple) 1987 130.3x162.1cm
People say this temple has two faces. The splendor of the time can be imagined from the massive main gate and stone walls. Beyond the gate is Ojo-gokurakuin Amitabaha Hall, which was once visited by devotees of the Nembutsu sect of Buddhism.
